ᴄᴏꜱᴍᴏᴅɪꜰʏᴍᴇ
A performative ritual created to activate native indigenous knowledges in the search to re-connect with my ancestral legacy and their millenary practices of resistance and emancipation.
It is a personal reflection into recognising how the commercialisation of art and my close coexistent with the ‘performance art-market’ itself has influenced my principles and ethics on both a personal and artistic level. How to keep the ground? How to not forget ones own’s roots?
During a self created performative ritual I claim back the need to re-activate native indigenous knowledge as a way to re-connect and align my artistic and personal aspirations with millenary practices of resistance and emancipation. An invocation to re-code and re-imagine anthropocentric practices/perspectives into biocentric ones is evoked.
